Post-Doc

Moonsun received her undergraduate degree in Biotechnology and Environmental Science and Ecological Engineering from Korea University. She continued her academic training at Korea University KU-KIST Graduate School of Converging Science and Technology, where she completed her PhD under the supervision of Dr. C. Justin Lee at the Institute for Basic Science (IBS) in 2022. Her doctoral research focused on the molecular mechanisms and treatment of diet-induced obesity through reactive astrocytes. Following her PhD, she conducted postdoctoral research at the IBS and Seoul National University. In 2026, she joined the Nam lab at KIST as a postdoctoral researcher.
